One of the biggest post-race parties in Abu Dhabi during the Formula One weekend, the Podium Lounge moves to the du Forum on Yas Island to become bigger and better than ever!

In any host country ,the Formula One weekend is one of the most prestigious, glamorous and exciting sporting events of the year, attracting aristocrats, celebrities, billionaires and the motorsports elite to the spectacular racing venues. But what do these glamorous types like to do when the sun goes down over the course of the weekend? Well, many of them attend the Podium Lounge’s wild trackside celebrations.

Already well established in Singapore, Melbourne and Monaco, the Podium Lounge celebrates its third year in Abu Dhabi on 2015. Last year, it took place at the Yas Viceroy’s rooftop venue, hosting the likes of Rudimental and Dirty Vegas as the crowd enjoyed the surrounding views of the Yas Marina Circuit. This year, however, the Podium Lounge is taking it to another level, as they shift the venue to the cavernous du Forum, adjacent to the circuit.

With bigger capacity, bigger atmosphere and a bigger line-up, the event is set to blow the past years away in its size, scope, and excitement, with TWO headline acts each night, on November 27, 28 and 29.

Friday 27…

The spectacular Opening Night will welcome the world-famous and Grammy nominated Freemasons, one of the world’s hottest dance acts who found worldwide fame with their smash hits Love on My Mind, Rain Down Love and Uninvited, and remixed with Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Shakira, Faith Evans, Kylie and Jamiroquai. The Freemasons will be supported by singing sensation Katherine Ellis, who recently wrote and sang the title track of the Oscar winning Hollywood film Gravity, and has global hits with When You Touch Me by The Freemasons, Dreaming by the Ruff Driverz and Lost by Roger Sanchez. Mark Doyle (creator of Hed Kandi) and the Fierce Angel Collective will follow on from The Freemasons with Fierce Diva.

Saturday 28…

8KY 6LU of the duo LMFAO will be turboboosting the high-octane party celebrations on Saturday together with his official DJ BMAD, who is responsible for creating some of the greatest beats to hit the modern music scene. LMFAO’s The Party Rock Anthem, with 950 million YouTube views, remains one of the most-watched music videos of all time. The Saturday night party also boasts Miles Slater, the music director of superstylish private members’ club Boujis, famous for hosting royalty, international VIPs and aristocracy.

Race Day…

On Race Night, Sunday November, 29 Master British producer, DJ and remixer Joey Negro, one of the most celebrated forefathers of the UK dance scene, will be headlining with a celebratory disco house set. Joining Joey will be a cult figure with dance music connoisseurs: Dimitri from Paris, the stylish snake-hipped pin-up with French reserve. Dimitri was the very first DJ to pioneer house music all over France and is a self-confessed dance music fanatic. Finding worldwide fame with his first album Sacrebleau, Dimitri is a global music sensation and has sold more than a million records.
