Back by popular demand, indulge in the jazzy a la carte brunch at the Royal Golf Club for awesome entertainment, fine food and limitless Friday fun!
Lounge leisurely in Links restaurant with a backdrop of stunning views of the golf course, while you listen to the soulful tunes of Ahmed Al Qasim giving diners a live performance of contemporary jazz and blues. A wonderful experience every Friday afternoon, the brunch features a fantastic array of unlimited delicious cuisine and selected refreshments including grapes and hops from noon to 4pm.Browsing the menu, you’ll find the Chef has created a variety of dishes, from traditional favourites to sophisticated plates, featuring breakfast items, small bites, main courses and signature options, that are made to order and served to your table, as well as a buffet of mezze and desserts.
Be enticed to begin with poached eggs on fluffy English muffins with crispy bacon, tomato relish and béarnaise sauce, or perhaps the sweet treats might take your fancy: imagine waffles overflowing with chocolate and topped with caramelised bananas and almond ice cream or blueberry flapjacks with the fusion of sticky maple syrup and Chantilly cream – how delicious does that sound? From the small plates we recommend savouring the seared king scallops with wild mushroom crust and roasted pumpkin puree, or perhaps the Peking duck wraps in hoisin sauce, or the roasted tomato and sweet pepper soup with basil foam and goats cheese straws. Every dish is as flavourful as the next.
Sample from a range of house favourites including gourmet Angus sliders, tempura prawns, chicken tikka thighs, fried chicken dumplings and fish and chips – the variety is diverse and plenty to please every palate. From the mains, seafood lovers will enjoy the mini crayfish thermidor or the pan-fried sea bass with warm Moroccan quinoa salad and lime mayonnaise, whilst those with more carnivorous taste buds can savour the succulent braised and deboned lamb shank or the grilled beef tenderloin. The vegetarian wild mushroom tortellini with rucola reduction and parmesan crisps is a must-try. Over the weekend a selection of delicious Links Traditional Roasts with all the trimmings are also available, which you can pair with special beverage packages, so whatever your preference, you’re guaranteed a fab time at the Royal Golf Club.
In addition to the brunch, you can enjoy the various music nights; Thursdays in Links is Vine & Dine from 7pm to 10pm with Thu Le, classical guitarist; Fridays in Links during brunch from midday to 4pm and then in Repartee from 8pm to 11pm is the soulful sounds of Ahmed Al Qasim’s Jazz Experience; whilst Saturday in Links from 12.30pm to 3.30pm is Alexandra Bazyak Jazz Project.
Jazzy Brunch is every Friday from 12noon to 4pm at BD30 net per person inclusive of unlimited selected beverages. Children 12 years and under pa y BD9. Traditional Weekend Roasts are on Friday and Saturday from midday until late. Special beverage package is BD15 for unlimited selected drinks for three hours (avai lable when ordering a main course).
