A Classical Evening

The Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra marks Europe Day with a concert spotlighting music from some of the continent’s greatest composers.
Classical music fans, get ready for an enthralling evening, as the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra returns to the stage at the Bahrain National Theatre on May 9 with Beauty of Classical Music, a special concert conducted by Bahraini Maestro Dr Mubarak Najem.
The event is held in celebration of Europe Day and the values of unity and diversity, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman. Two guest performances by a soprano and a violin soloist from the European Union will bring these timeless pieces to life.

With the support of the government and the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, this cultural initiative embodies the vision of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, illuminating Bahrain as a vibrant and dynamic hub of artistic creativity.
