Cantina Kahlo, the highly-acclaimed Mexican restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, has announced its relaunch with a new menu inspired by the rich flavours of Mexico and the vision of its talented culinary and management team.
At the helm of Cantina Kahlo is new restaurant manager, Adrián Paredes, who joined in September 2024 and brings a passion for culinary excellence and operational expertise, and Chef César Gil, whose passion for Mexican cuisine is reflected in every dish he creates.
This passion is the driving force behind the newly curated menu which is designed to transport diners to the heart of Mexico. The duo’s shared vision is to establish Cantina Kahlo as the best Mexican dining destination not only in Bahrain, but across the Gulf region. And, the newly revamped menu is a culinary journey through Mexico, showcasing both traditional flavours and innovative creations.
Tantalise your taste buds with appetisers like refreshing Shrimp Ceviche, a vibrant mix of cooked shrimp, mango, avocado and jalapeno, awakening your palate and preparing you for the flavours to come, or Sinaloa Aguachile, featuring raw shrimp, cucumber, lime, cilantro, and avocado, capturing the authentic taste of the sea with a spicy Sinaloa touch.

The Chicken Panucho, with corn masa and slow-cooked chicken in achiote and black beans, offers a delicious twist on a traditional bite. For the main course, indulge in the Grilled Fish, local fish prepared with jalapeño and chipotle chili, bursting with flavour and ocean freshness, or the sumptuous Braised Octopus, a perfect blend of coastal flavours with corn, parmesan, parsley, and jalapeño, contrasting intense and soft notes.
Satisfy your sweet cravings with delectable desserts like the Jamaica Pear Tart, a sweet and tangy combination of hibiscus, pear, almonds, and vanilla, or the unique Pre-Hispanic Ice Cream, featuring corn as the star ingredient, from the base to the decoration, offering an authentic connection to Mexican roots.

The relaunch of Cantina Kahlo invites guests to a fiesta for the senses.
