Award-winning night spot, The K Lounge, has opened its doors by the sea, in a second location at Dragon Beach Hotel, Amwaj Islands.

Marking the occasion, the grand opening took place against the stunning backdrop at the Dragon Beach Hotel, with the premium, 75-seater, indoor space with its hookah and gorgeous waterfront view setting the tone even before the first drink was poured. The atmosphere was pure energy: a mix of familiar faces, elegant cocktails and music perfectly tuned to the festivities.

The new Amwaj venue carries forward the internationally inspired menu that renders The K Lounge, at Juffair’s K Hotel, a crowd favourite. Plates are designed for both flavour and finesse with a refined selection of starters, indulgent mains and desserts that hit the sweet spot between creativity and comfort.

A Fresh Idea

A brand-new, standout concept was introduced on the night with Outlet Manager and mixologist Brunken Watulingas behind the bar to present The Daily Rotating Handcrafted Cocktails. Promising a new adventure on each visit, this will see each day of the week featuring a unique creation offered at an exclusive price.

A great taste of what’s on offer came with the Smoked Peach Eclipse, which stole the spotlight with a blend of premium enhanced beverages coupled with peach purée and lime juice for a balance of smoky depth and bright, juicy notes.

To celebrate the grand opening, The K Lounge Amwaj is rolling out daily offers that blend style with good times. Guests can unwind during Happy Hour from 1pm to 8pm with 30% off selected beverages or join Ladies’ Night from 7pm to midnight for exclusive offers and a lively, upbeat atmosphere. The vibe is polished yet playful – perfectly in tune with Amwaj’s coastal energy.

Members of The K Hotel’s loyalty programme, K Plus, also receive an exclusive offer of a 30% discount when dining at the new lounge, valid until December 31.
