A Reflection Of Resilience And Talent

A unique exhibition, which started on December 12, in the Hilton Bahrain lobby displays the works of six young Bahraini artists who took part in an art competition hosted by the hotel to celebrate the Kingdom’s National Day with the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioural and Communication Difficulties.

The competition aimed to promote inclusivity and provide young artists facing communication and behavioural challenges a platform to express themselves. The little artists, aged seven to 12 years, submitted a total of 10 inspiring entries. Following the announcement of the winner, all artworks are on display in the Hilton Bahrain lobby until December 16, allowing guests and the wider community to appreciate the remarkable talent of these children.

The judging panel for the competition featured notable figures in the local art and hospitality scene, including Tamer Farouk, General Manager of Hilton Bahrain; Rasha Al Mannai, a respected local artist; and Shaikha Rania Al Khalifa, the Director of the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioural and Communication Difficulties.

“We are honoured to support this initiative, which not only celebrates Bahrain National Day but also empowers young artists from the community,” Tamer said.

“Their creativity is a reflection of resilience and talent, and we are thrilled to provide a platform for their voices to be heard.”

Rasha added: “It is inspiring to witness the unique perspectives and emotions these children express through their art. Each piece tells a story and reflects the beauty of diversity in our society. I am proud to be part of this initiative that uplifts young talent.”

Shaikha Rania emphasised the importance of art in self-expression, particularly for children with behavioural and communication difficulties.

“This competition not only showcases their artistic abilities but also fosters a greater understanding and appreciation within the community,” she said.

“We are grateful to Hilton Bahrain for their support in making this event possible.”

Hilton Bahrain remains committed to exceptional hospitality while actively supporting local communities through various initiatives and partnerships. The collaboration with the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioural and Communication Difficulties is a reflection of this commitment, highlighting the profound impact of art and community engagement.
