Al Haddad Motors Launches the Mercedes-Benz CLA in Bahrain

Al Haddad Motors, the authorised general distributor of Mercedes-Benz in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has officially launched the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA at its showroom in Tubli.

Combining expressive design, electrified performance and intelligent technology, the all-new CLA introduces a new standard within the compact luxury segment. Customers and members of the media were invited to experience the vehicle’s sophisticated interior, dynamic styling and latest digital innovations.

The launch takes place during a significant year for Mercedes-Benz as the brand celebrates 140 years of innovation since Carl Benz invented the automobile in 1886. The all-new CLA continues this pioneering legacy, bringing together advanced engineering, intelligent digital technology, electrified performance and the uncompromising standards of safety and luxury that have defined Mercedes-Benz for generations.

All-New Mercedes-Benz CLA Features

The all-new CLA has a sporty, coupé-inspired silhouette defined by a shark-nose front, sculpted powerdomes, frameless doors and a flowing roofline. Its illuminated radiator grille is complemented by available MULTIBEAM LED headlamps with Mercedes-Benz star detailing.

At the rear, newly designed LED lights and a full-width light strip create a distinctive appearance. Aerodynamically optimised surfaces, seamless door handles and wheels measuring up to 19 inches further enhance its elegant and athletic character.

Power comes from a newly developed 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine supported by intelligent 48-volt hybrid technology. An electric motor integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch electrified transmission assists during acceleration, supports energy recuperation and contributes to smoother, more efficient driving. The system can also enable electric coasting and low-speed electric driving under suitable conditions.

Inside, the CLA combines contemporary luxury with enhanced comfort and practicality. Its redesigned two-tier centre console provides convenient storage and an available wireless smartphone charging area. New sports seats offer increased support, while the expansive fixed panoramic glass roof fills the cabin with natural light and creates an open, spacious atmosphere.

At the centre of the digital experience is the new Mercedes-Benz Operating System, MB.OS. Its chip-to-cloud architecture connects the vehicle’s infotainment, comfort and assistance functions while supporting over-the-air updates. The available MBUX Superscreen can integrate three displays across the dashboard, providing information and entertainment for both the driver and front passenger.

The AI-powered MBUX Virtual Assistant enables more natural interaction, learns user preferences and offers proactive suggestions. Other available features include MBUX Surround Navigation with 3D visualisation, Google Maps-based navigation information, wireless smartphone integration and a Burmester® 3D surround sound system with 16 speakers and Dolby Atmos®.

Safety remains a core focus of the all-new CLA. Depending on the vehicle’s configuration, available technologies include Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, adaptive cruise-control functions, ATTENTION ASSIST, PRE-SAFE® and advanced parking assistance. Its rigid passenger compartment, carefully engineered crumple zones, airbags and occupant-restraint systems provide comprehensive protection.
