Enjoy contemporary Japanese fine dining at the newly inaugurated Gyuto at Al Liwan.
Bahrain’s gourmands are in for a treat with the opening of Gyuto, a brand-new Japanese restaurant, recently inaugurated at Al Liwan. It offers an innovative dining experience by imbuing a contemporary touch to classic Japanese cuisine.
A selection of novel dishes from the menu includes Black Cod and Prawn Dim Sum served with lemongrass, sesame oil and ponzu garlic; Crispy Lobster Bao; Japanese Yellowtail Sashimi served with jalapeño salsa, citrus soy and orange jelly; and Firecracker Roses Maki with salmon roses, chopped spicy salmon and tempura crumb. Vegetarians can explore a special vegetarian menu comprising the decadent Truffle Miso Mushroom, Mushroom Tempura Hotpot, and five specialty maki dishes, to name a few. Desserts have also been given a contemporary Japanese twist, with dishes including Miso Caramel Cheesecake and Chocolate Matcha Fondant. Gyuto co-owner Alawi Al Braik said: “Complementing the food, Gyuto’s interiors feature touches including picturesque traditional Japanese murals that promise to add a distinctive ambiance.
“With Gyuto, our endeavour is to introduce true quality and innovative Japanese fine-dining to Bahrain, and we look forward to offering citizens, residents and tourists a unique Asian hospitality experience that will surely be appreciated by everyone.”
Ahmed Yusuf CEO of Seef Properties, parent company of Al Liwan, said: “We are happy that a restaurant with the pedigree of Gyuto has opened at Al Liwan. The restaurant’s distinctive experience reflects the exceptional features of the project and qualifies it to become one of the Kingdom’s main tourist attractions in the near future.”
Gyuto is open from 12am to 12pm, seven days a week. ✤
