A new Turkish restaurant has opened its doors at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR.

Asil, which means ‘noble’ in Turkish takes guests on a cultural and culinary adventure through the tastes, sights and sounds of Turkey, Lebanon and Morocco.

Upon entering, guests will be transported into an Aladdin’s Cave of sumptuous textiles and chandeliers, inspired by the ambience and hospitality of the Arab world.

Looking to become the next Dubai hotspot for Middle Eastern cuisine, Asil will offer a unique dining experience to guests. For those that are looking to explore the flavours and sounds of the Middle East, Asil provides an array of dishes to tempt the palate, before evolving into a spectacular nightlife venue after dinner.

For a more laidback vibe, the lounge and terrace resembles a modern majlis and is ideal for intimate gatherings with friends in a secluded and exclusive setting. An outdoor terrace boasts sunset views over the Arabian Gulf, with views towards Ain Dubai, the world’s largest ferris wheel.

Fusing the Arabesque flavours of Turkish, Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine, Asil’m menu presents authentic dishes with a creative and contemporary twist, such as the Hommous Tantouni, a twist on the popular Turkish street food Tantuni, served over Hommous. In keeping with tradition, dishes are served sharing style to the table, allowing diners to sample a wide selection of dishes which range from a hot and cold mezze section including the Köpoğlu (fried cubes of aubergine in a buffalo yoghurt dip with a candied tomato jam). Tantalising main courses include an Ottoman Lamb Shank and the Asil Kebab with a classic Turkish Kunefe served with pistachio ice cream for dessert.

Drawing inspiration from the famous nightlife districts of Beirut, Istanbul, Marrakesh and Casablanca, the Asil experience is not complete without the wide selection of inventive mocktails and beverages. House favourites include the Al Amira; which takes the traditional Moroccan tea and fuses it with Asil’s own house-made thyme syrup, grapefruit and soda water. Asil will also play host to a daily line up of unique entertainment, including a Henna artist offering complimentary Henna for female guests and Turkish music producer, DJ Mustech on the decks.

This sounds like one to check out this summer.
