Bahrain Darts Masters Returns!
The Bahrain Darts Masters returns this month, bringing world-class darts action to the Kingdom. Watch as local stars take on the world’s best in this exciting sporting showdown.
The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is gearing up to host the much-anticipated third staging of the Bahrain Darts Masters, to be held on January 16 and 17 at BIC’s Dome. The event, the first leg in the 2025 Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Series of Darts, promises two thrilling days of world-class competition.
With a 16-player field, the competition will feature eight PDC superstars locking horns with eight Asian representatives, including Bahrain’s own Basem Mahmood and Abdulla Saeed, who secured their spots through the local qualifying round. They will be joining an elite field that features defending champion and teenage darts sensation Luke Littler, reigning World Champion Luke Humphries and top star Rob Cross.
The tournament, organised by the BIC and sports promoter CBX with support from Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), is expected to attract a diverse audience, boosting the Kingdom’s reputation as a hub for international sports.
“The Bahrain Darts Masters has already become a popular event on the World Series of Darts circuit and we saw encouraging growth in our second visit in 2024 for what proved a memorable tournament,” said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.
“The 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters will begin our biggest-ever year on the World Series and will be a huge opportunity for all 16 players to make their mark in a global event. We can’t wait to return to The Dome at Bahrain International Circuit in January.”
BIC Chief Executive Sheikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa commented: “It’s a great honour to be hosting the Bahrain Darts Masters for a third straight year. The event has established itself as a highlight in the sporting calendar, with fans showing tremendous support to the global superstars who come here to play.”
