Music fans are in for a treat as the Bob Marley Birthday Festival returns bigger and better, celebrating all things Caribbean with an international lineup of reggae artists, live bands and Caribbean culture.

Bahrain is gearing up to host its biggest Caribbean and reggae celebration to date with the Bob Marley Birthday Festival on February 6. Organised by Miami Events, the highly anticipated event will be held at Captain Jack’s, Elite Seef Residence & Hotel, Seef District, from 1pm to 9pm and is expected to draw music lovers from across the Kingdom.

Following the sold-out success of its previous staging at Coral Bay, the festival returns this year with an expanded programme, promising an unforgettable celebration of reggae music, Caribbean culture and the legendary Bob Marley.

Widely regarded as the largest Caribbean reggae festival ever staged in the country, the event brings together international artists, global sounds and cultural unity under one shared message that reflects Bob Marley’s legacy: One Love. One People. One Vibe.

This year’s headline act, coming all the way from Kingston, Jamaica, is Alex Marley, reggae royalty and first cousin of Bob Marley. Performing live, backed by the iconic Wailing Wailers, his set promises an authentic roots reggae experience that celebrates the music’s origins and global influence.

The lineup also features MO & Ali from Amsterdam, acclaimed as Bob Marley’s leading tribute band, along with Bahrain’s own live acts Abyooki and The Kushari Band. A strong DJ roster supports the live performances, including DJs Epic, Shola, Nesto and Timo from Bahrain, alongside international DJs Kriss Darlin and Double Trouble. The event will be hosted by UK DJ and MC Andrew Bentley, bringing his unmatched energy and charisma to the stage. Adding flavour to the vibes, guests can enjoy a premium Caribbean Brunch, running from 1pm to 5pm. Curated by Chef Big Sho of Kingston 10, the brunch features authentic Caribbean dishes and is priced at BD25, including full access to the festival.

Advance tickets are available, with ladies’ entry priced at BD5 and gents’ at BD10. Ticket and brunch packages can be purchased through Platinumlist (manama.platinumlist.net), with limited availability.

With organisers describing it as a cultural moment for Bahrain, the Bob Marley Birthday Festival is set to be a standout event on the island’s 2026 social calendar. ✤
