This time, Tala has been featured on the top 100 list of The Best Chef, a project dedicated to celebrating talented chefs that create the best food experiences around the world. Further, she is the only Arab to make the list.

Created by Polish neuroscientist Joanna Slusarczyk and Italian gastronomist Cristian Gadau, in 2015, The Best Chef aims to globally unite the best thinkers and leaders in the world of gastronomy and fine dining and highlight their process to peers and everybody else, as examples for future generations who can learn and build on their ideas. In 2017, The Best Chef expanded its offering by creating The Best Chef Awards: a ranking list focused on chefs. The awards were first held in Warsaw in 2017, in Milan in 2018, in Barcelona in 2019 and virtually over three days due to the global pandemic in 2020. Last year, they were held in Amsterdam and this year in Madrid. Tala was there to celebrate her ranking. This achievement follows her winning the title of MENA’s Best Female Chef for 2022. She also competed on MBC’s Top Chef Middle East television show in 2020 ✤
