Registrations have officially opened for Hybrid 800, which returns on October 9 with for a full day of fitness challenges at Exhibition World Bahrain Hall 2.

Set to be Bahrain’s biggest indoor endurance race, held in collaboration with The Factory, the one-day event is designed to test every aspect of fitness, from cardio and strength to functional movement and endurance.

Competitors tackle 10 workout stations, each separated by an 800-metre run, creating a demanding course that keeps the heart rate high from start to finish. The stations include Assault Bike, Farmer’s Carry, Devil Press, Row Machine, Dumbbell Snatch, Sandbag Lunges, Burpee Broad Jump, SkiErg (skiing cardio machine), Bear Crawl and Wall Balls, creating a full-body challenge.

The race is open to all fitness levels, so you don’t need to be an elite athlete to take part. Adults can compete solo or in doubles, with male, female and mixed team categories available, while professional coaches will be on hand throughout the event to guide participants based on their fitness levels.

The event begins at 6am and continues until 7pm, with ongoing registrations open until October 2. Available until August 18, the early bird offer costs BD30 for solo competitors and BD60 for doubles, increasing to BD34 and BD64 respectively afterwards.

For anyone eager to test their limits, Hybrid 800 is shaping up to be one of the fitness calendar’s biggest events. ✤
