The Kingdom will host a five-day celebration of brewing, creativity and community, as the first Bahrain Coffee Festival launches this month.
The island’s coffee community has plenty to look forward to, with the Kingdom gearing up to welcome the first Bahrain Coffee Festival 2025, running from December 9 to 13 at Exhibition World Bahrain, Hall 3. The event brings together local and international experts, brands and enthusiasts to celebrate coffee culture, innovation and creativity.
Organised by DXB LIVE in collaboration with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI), the Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), the festival marks a significant milestone as the Kingdom’s first dedicated coffee event. It also reinforces Bahrain’s growing reputation as a regional hub for cultural and lifestyle events by fostering business partnerships, building community engagement and showcasing the Kingdom’s hospitality and creativity on the global stage.
Over five days, visitors are invited to experience Bahrain’s vibrant and fast-growing coffee scene through workshops, live competitions, sensory experiences and networking opportunities. More than 100 brands will exhibit this year, including well-known regional roasters and international names, alongside equipment suppliers and technology partners showcasing new machines, tools and brewing innovations.

Visitors can expect a full schedule, with competitions such as the Latte Art Throwdown, Cup Tasters Challenge, Home Brewer Challenge, Fastest Barista Race and the Best Coffee with Milk contest. A series of 25 educational and practical workshops will cover everything from V60 brewing, Pourover techniques and AeroPress brew class to barista basics, roasting fundamentals, coffee cupping and introductions to speciality coffee. Advanced classes will also look at branding, packaging, opening a coffee shop in Bahrain and caring for espresso machines – useful for anyone thinking about stepping into the business.
The festival builds on coffee’s cultural roots through Traditional Arabic Coffee Protocol demonstrations, coffee and dessert pairings, live coffee art, the Mini Coffee Museum and additional experiences such as Coffee Around the World, The Future of Coffee and Sustainability, Coffee Documentary Screenings and The Coffee & Music Lounge. Attendees will also enjoy live music and food kiosks, creating a community atmosphere for families, enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Tickets start from BD1.5 and are available on manama.platinumlist.net for what’s set to be Bahrain’s biggest celebration of coffee culture to date.✤
