Kingdom Pro Wrestling is bringing the chaos and drama with the debut of a Royal Rumble showdown at BahrainMania, promising a night to remember.

Get ready wrestling fans, because Bahrain is set to host its first ever Royal Rumble (not to be confused with the charity boxing event of the same name) as Kingdom Pro Wrestling (KPW) presents BahrainMania. Just six days after the global hype of WWE’s Royal Rumble, Bahrain will get its own homegrown version on February 7 at Dana Mall.

BahrainMania will be the biggest show ever held by KPW – Bahrain’s first registered professional wrestling company, founded in 2023 and often called the WWE of Bahrain. All KPW wrestlers are Bahraini and trained locally through the company’s own developmental school, under the guidance of American wrestler Glen Holbrook, who has more than 35 years of experience.

Starting at 8pm, the night features four matches, including The Kombat Brothers defending their Tag Team Championship for the first time. The main headline event is a classic Royal Rumble where 30 wrestlers compete, starting with two in the ring, with new entrants entering at timed intervals. To be eliminated, a wrestler must be thrown over the top rope. The last person standing is deemed the winner and earns a title shot at the KPW Championship, currently held by Aldababa, who ended Razor Jaw Shareef’s 723-day reign last November.

Seven of the 30 Rumble entrants are still a mystery, opening the door for plenty of surprises and possible returns, including long-absent fan favourite and KPW superstar, Jabbar.

Tickets for the event are priced at BD2 and BD5, available through LocalBH Tickets. ✤
