24N SPORTS ACADEMY

For children who would rather spend their summer moving than sitting still, 24N Sports Academy’s six-week camp offers plenty of action. Running until August 6 at Nadeen School in Dilmunia and the American School of Bahrain in Riffa, the programme is open to children aged four to 14. Days are packed with football, basketball, swimming and netball, alongside team games, indoor workshops and weekly themed challenges that add a competitive twist to the fun. Running until August 27, the programme welcomes children aged four to 12 for weekday sessions filled with fun activities. Participants will explore a variety of dance styles, including ballet, commercial street dance and contemporary dance, while also taking part in arts and crafts activities. From gymnastics and boxing to parkour and taekwondo, Apex Sports Academy’s Summer Camp promises plenty of action for energetic youngsters. Running from July 1 to September 1 in Muharraq, the programme is open to boys and girls aged five to 12 and mixes action, creativity and skill-building activities. Alongside sport-focussed sessions, children can also enjoy arts and crafts, movie time and a variety of games and team challenges for an unforgettable experience. Offering six summer camps and programmes this year, the British School of Bahrain (BSB) is giving children and teens plenty of ways to stay active and engaged throughout the holidays. Young swimmers aged three and above can build confidence and improve their technique through the Learn to Swim Programme (running until July 30, BD7 per 30-minute lesson), while the BSB Full-Day Summer Camp (July 5 to August 13, BD100 per week including lunch) keeps children aged four to 14 busy with games, sports, arts and crafts, challenges and themed adventures. Budding musicians can spend their summer exploring the world of sound at Eighty-Eight Keys Music Academy in Budaiya. Running from July 1 to August 20 (excluding Fridays and Saturdays), the Summer Safari Music Camp welcomes children aged five to 10 for mornings filled with hands-on musical exploration. Participants will have the opportunity to try a range of instruments, including piano, guitar, drums, violin and ukulele, while also developing their singing skills. JAM & JOY

Real-world learning takes centre stage at Jam & Joy’s Global City – Future Leaders Summer Camp at RUW Corner, designed to help children build confidence, independence, communication and teamwork skills through fun, hands-on real-life activities. Open to children aged four to nine, the programme lets youngsters enjoy exciting role-play experiences, from running a café and managing a mini shop to planning parties and creating advertisements and videos. QANNATI OBJET D’ART

The Qannati Watchmaking Summer Camp 2026 gives youngsters a chance to design and build their very own timepieces. Held at Qannati Lab in Seef, the programme is open to children aged seven to 14 and runs across four sessions: July 5 to 16, July 19 to 30, August 2 to 13 and August 16 to 27. Across six two-hour classes, participants will learn about the history, artistry and mechanics of watches in a fun way, explore different materials, colours, straps, dials and decorative elements and create their own watch design. They will also sketch, colour and personalise their own watch concepts using Qannati design templates and creative materials, culminating in a hands-on assembly session to build a wearable watch to take home. SPORTS TRAINING COMPLEX

A packed programme of sports, creativity and hands-on learning awaits youngsters at Sports Training Complex’s Summer Camp in Saar. Running until August 6, the camp is open to children aged five to 13 and combines physical activity with artistic and educational workshops. Participants can try taekwondo sessions in collaboration with Bin Jamal Taekwondo, arts and crafts, cooking and clay modelling with Zainab’s Art Space, as well as robotbuilding workshops with RoboThink. Keeping young minds and bodies busy, the British Club’s ongoing BC Juniors’ Summer Camp for children aged four to 12 runs until August 20. Held across the club’s facilities, the programme introduces a different theme each week, with topics ranging from water fun, talent showcase and physical activities, science projects and nature camp to invention and innovation, community building and leadership and entrepreneurship. VICTORIA DANCE STUDIO

Young dancers can stay active this summer with a series of weekly classes at Victoria Dance Studio in Hamala. Running every Wednesday throughout July and August, the programme includes four classes tailored to different ages and interests. Baby Ballet (ages two to six) introduces young children to ballet through movement, music, play and imaginative storytelling, while Junior Ballet (ages six to 10) focusses on correct classical ballet technique and terminology, posture, balance, flexibility and musicality.
