Why Is It Worth Watching?
Manhunt is a portrayal of the decade-long search for the Al Qaeda leader and explores the aftermath of 9/11 and the difficult decisions made by the US Government. The docuseries includes a combination of archival and behindthe-scenes footage, alongside talking head interviews in order to draw a vivid picture of the government’s critical decision making and eventual capture and death of Osama Bin Laden in 2011.
The three-part documentary presents a wider perspective on the search highlighting the contributions of female CIA analysts, in addition to other aspects of the intense and gripping operation.
