The all-new Passat and the all-new Jetta were launched by Volkswagen Bahrain at a distinguished launch ceremony held at the Behbehani Brothers premises, attended by H.E. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; H.E. Henning Simon, German Ambassador to Bahrain; the company’s management and customers.

Volkswagen is set to make a powerful statement in the Kingdom’s automotive landscape with the long-awaited return of two icons – the all-new Volkswagen Passat and the all-new Volkswagen Jetta.

For decades, the Jetta and Passat have been trusted sedans in the Kingdom, known for their balance of design, practicality and German engineering –which is all about the precision, safety and quality that defines every Volkswagen worldwide. Their return marks a milestone moment for the brand, reintroducing models that have been reimagined to meet the needs of today’s customers while staying true to their legacy.

The all-new Passat sits at the heart of Volkswagen’s sedan story – a car that has sold more than 34 million units worldwide and continues to stand as a symbol of refinement and reliability. Its return to the Kingdom has truly been worth the wait.

As the longest in its segment and the most spacious Passat ever built, it redefines comfort for both drivers and passengers. Among its standout highlights are class-leading rear seats with ventilation, massage and reclining functions, turning every journey into a true business class experience. Add to this advanced technology, including Matrix LED headlights, a 15-inch infotainment system, and the latest safety systems and the Passat sets a new benchmark for everyday sophistication and reinforces its role as the new business class in its segment.

Meanwhile, the all-new Jetta has returned with its boldest form yet. As the largest Jetta ever built, with the longest wheelbase in its class, it offers an interior that is more spacious and versatile than ever before. Yet it remains true to its character as the more compact and agile sibling of the Passat.

Combined with a fresh design, advanced safety systems and smart technology features such as digital displays, seamless door handles, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging and adaptive cruise control, the Jetta is designed to bring everyday practicality together with modern style and confidence, continuing the legacy of everyday driving confidence that has defined it for generations.

“The Jetta and Passat are two of Volkswagen’s most recognisable models worldwide and their return is an exciting moment for us in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” said Andrew Woolley, General Manager of Volkswagen Bahrain.

“Both cars have been reimagined to deliver more space, innovation and the quality that our customers expect. Their comeback marks the beginning of a new chapter for Volkswagen sedans in the region.”

Together, the Passat and Jetta mark Volkswagen’s renewed strength in the sedan segment. Bigger, bolder and packed with innovation, these models embody the brand’s vision of German engineered cars for the people – accessible, intelligent and built with the needs of the region in mind.

The all-new Passat and all-new Jetta are available now at the Volkswagen showroom in Sitra.
