With a packed programme running throughout June, Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has launched a summer calendar packed full of entertainment and cultural events.

Mark your calendars as there’s plenty to do this month with BTEA’s latest tourism campaign, which brings together an exciting lineup, including concerts, workshops, live entertainment and family-friendly activities. Taking place across malls, popular venues and tourist centres, the calendar includes everything from giant inflatable theme parks and orchestral performances to folk music, sports activities and pottery workshops. So, whether you’re planning weekends with the kids or simply looking for something different to do after work, June’s lineup has you covered.

The world’s biggest inflatable theme park has arrived in Bahrain with giant slides, exciting challenges and entertainment designed for all ages. Expect plenty of bouncing, games and high-energy fun as Exhibition World Bahrain transforms into a massive indoor playground for children and families.

What: Nancy Ajram Concert

Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram, dubbed the ‘Queen of Arab Pop’, returns to Bahrain for a live concert filled with chart-topping hits and fan favourites. With a career spanning more than two decades and 11 studio albums, the multi-platinum singer remains one of the world’s most recognised female Arab pop artists.

Visitors heading to Marassi Galleria for shopping and dining can also catch daily live music performances taking place this month. The sessions continue into the evening, giving you plenty of reason to stay long after all the shopping is done.

Enjoy an evening of traditional Bahraini folk music, celebrating the distinct rhythms and acoustic styles that have defined the Kingdom’s musical heritage.

What: Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra

Led by Maestro Mubarak Najem, the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra returns to the stage at Bahrain National Theatre for a captivating evening of live orchestral performance.

What: Arabic Calligraphy Workshop
When: Every Tuesday | 5pm to 7pm
Where: Mashq Art Space, Argan Village

An eight-hour workshop, covering the history and practice of Arabic calligraphy from singular letterforms through to connected script. Sessions are tailored to different skill levels, making it suitable for beginners and advanced students alike. For ages 14 and above.

What: Little Equestrian Weekend
When: Every Friday: 4pm to 5pm, 5pm to 6pm | Every Saturday: 10am to 11am, 11am to 12pm

Children aged three to 13 can spend the weekend learning about horses through riding sessions and hands-on activities supervised by professional trainers. The programme also introduces young participants to horse care and feeding in a safe and structured environment.

Live music takes over The Forum area at The Avenues – Bahrain mall every weekend, turning an evening of shopping into something livelier.

Studio Ceramics hosts a relaxed adults-only pottery session designed to help you relax, unwind and reconnect. Guided by resident artists, participants can work with clay at their own pace, whether they’re experienced makers or trying ceramics for the first time.

What: Young Artists Club

Designed for children aged four to 12, these weekly art sessions encourage creativity through painting, crafting, pottery and hands-on activities. Each month introduces a new theme, giving young artists the chance to experiment with different techniques while building their own collection of work. ✤
