Tell us more about your day-to-day role and what keeps it challenging…
I am responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to ensure positive positioning, as well as building brand awareness and promoting customer loyalty through effective marketing campaigns and public relations. I thrive on the sense of newness my job offers. No two days are the same. With the global and regional hospitality sector undergoing a massive transformation, change is a phenomenon you embrace with open arms and responding to this change keeps the job challenging and exciting on a daily basis
What are some of your favourite cultural hotspots in Dubai and why?
I am lucky to be living in a city that is known to be a melting pot of various cultures. My favourite hotspot is the Dubai Opera because residents and tourists alike can experience the city’s rich arts and culture scene through world-class performing arts. They say art can stimulate creativity and new perspectives, so I try my best to be a regular at Alserkal Avenue and the Dubai Design District which are the arts and culture districts and the residencies house local and global artists. Two amazing places to see the historical sites of Dubai complete with an ancient atmosphere is Al Seef and Al Fahidi historical neighbourhoods.
Share with us some of your professional goals for the near future…
We are looking forward to the upcoming campaigns that will be launched to further promote Amwaj Rotana’s newly re-launched All Out Brunch. The re-launch was a big project for us, and our aim is to position the brunch as one of the top things to do on a Friday in Jumeirah Beach Residence, especially for foodies, additionally it’s the time of the year to launch the festive season activations, we have very exciting offers and promotions for residents and tourists. Finally, we are really looking forward to Expo 2020 Dubai. We are confident that “The World’s Greatest Show” will have a positive impact on Dubai’s hospitality sector and we are committed to supporting the mega event.
