The world is your oyster every Thursday.
There’s seemingly no better way to start the weekend than with a brunch. The appeal of unlimited food and beverages is undoubtedly an enticing prospect after a long week in the office, but while we certainly enjoy the weekly Friday soiree, the day is lost once you factor in time for getting ready, the brunch itself and the inevitable after-party.
The Seafood Evening Brunch at Feast inside the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai makes for the ideal start to the weekend and a chance to enjoy a selection of premium seafood and exquisite beverages in a vibrant restaurant complete with lively soundtrack.
Located on the 6th floor of the five-star hotel, Feast offers precisely what the name suggests – an extensive buffet spread and several exciting live-stations. Welcomed into an expansive restaurant space that is both modern and inviting, we’re greeted by friendly staff, various seating configurations, live cooking, mixology stations and a terrace that offers remarkable Sheikh Zayed Road views.
Perusing the seafood buffet we’re impressed to see freshly shucked oysters, an extensive sushi counter boasting colourful maki rolls, and abundance of delicious nigiri and slithers of freshly prepared sashimi. There’s even a crustacean counter with shrimp, clams and mussels, artfully laid out upon a glistening bed of ice. If seafood and premium ingredients are your preference, then this seafood evening is not to be missed!
Aside from the fish, shellfish and molluscs, Feast’s Seafood Evening Brunch offers an exciting array of international cuisines. Diners can expect a bakery with full freshly baked bread and pastries (don’t miss the nori wrapped buns with a suitable fiery kick), an Arabic section featuring several Middle Eastern favourites, the Indian station with its worthy choice of hearty curries and condiments, and a South-East Asian counter chock-full of calamari, prawn crackers and an aromatic seafood Laska. Which easily one of the best we’ve tried in Dubai.
This is a brunch that offers something for everyone, and with such an enticing array of options available, it’s pleasing to see that the quality of the food is never compromised. Feast’s Seafood Evening Brunch presents a particular focus on premium ingredients and a la minute preparation. Don’t believe us? Then try the crisp and golden fish and chips with tartare sauce, is one of the definite highlights of the evening.
Speaking of highlights, Feast’s team of master chefs will prepare lobster, shrimp and fresh catch of the day on the in-house grill. Situated in the very heart of the restaurant, guests can pick their choice of seafood and watch it being grilled in the open kitchen, offering a real sea to table experience.
Featuring extensive mixology and a four-hour run time, Feast’s Seafood Evening Brunch is an experience to be relished and enjoyed at a leisurely pace, ensuring you have plenty of time to work your way through the veritable seafood feast on display.
Combining premium ingredients with value for money, makes this Thursday offering such a success, and judging by how busy it was on the evening we visited; we’d suggest reservations are essential.
