Double The Fun
The Kingdom will become the epicentre of the Formula One world in 2025 by hosting the highly-anticipated Bahrain Grand Prix (Bahrain GP) on April 10-13 as well as the pre-season F1 testing on February 26-28.
The two events promise to deliver enjoyable experiences for motorsport fans from around the globe.
The Bahrain GP, a staple in the Formula One calendar, will once again light up the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC). It was the first Formula One track in the Middle East, and it is known for its thrilling night race under the floodlights. The Grand Prix offers a blend of high-speed action (it is known for its challenging conditions) and a lively atmosphere. Fans can expect thrilling wheel-to-wheel battles, strategic pit stops and the roar of the world’s fastest cars.
F1 Pre-Season Testing: a sneak peek into the future
2025 will be the fifth consecutive year that Bahrain has been selected as the venue for F1 pre-season tests. This event will bring together all ten F1 teams as they prepare for the upcoming FIA Formula One World Championship. It will also be the first opportunity for fans to see the 2025 race cars in action before the season.
“After three consecutive years of sold out races, Formula One has never been so popular in Bahrain,” said Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, the BIC CEO.
“We have witnessed huge growth from international motorsport enthusiasts coming to Bahrain for the racing spectacle, with 2024 representing a record year for travelling fans.
“We are already well underway for planning our 2025 race, where guests can expect a unique combination of spectacular racing and entertainment, with traditional Bahrain hospitality.
“We look forward to welcoming fans next year to The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East.”

Off-road adventures in Bahrain
Travellers wanting to see what else Bahrain has to offer should explore off-road activities, in the Sakhir and Buri deserts. Their sand-scaped dunes are perfect for desert driving, sandboarding and ATV rides.
Alternatively, visitors can go island hopping around the Hawar Islands. This archipelago offers a unique blend of off-roading adventures, coastal exploration and relaxation. Travellers can choose to unwind along the white sandy beaches or attempt to catch a glimpse of some of Bahrain’s rare and wonderful marine life including the humble dugongs, sea turtles and colonies of local fish.
Something not to be missed in Bahrain is Manama’s Pearling centre and path, displaying the centuries-old tradition through artifacts and exhibitions. Guests can also experience pearl diving/snorkelling first hand and forage along the local seabed to discover their very own pearls.
