Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is the technology giant’s newest flagship.

Samsung Electronics has launched its latest premium android smartphone the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The new model showcases its ultra-level of capabilities in numerous categories starting with the 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 3,088 x 1,440 and features a slight curve. The device comes with a LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) screen that’s capable of variable refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz.

Powered by a customised version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, it’s capable of running multiple apps efficiently and also favourable for running games. It offers 8GB and 12GB RAM options and internal storage of 256GB, 512GB or 1TB.

The main camera boasts a new 200MP Adaptive Pixel sensor that captures images with incredible precision together with a 12MP ultrawide camera and two 10MP telephoto lenses that offer 3x and 10x dual optical zoom as well as an upgraded 12MP selfie camera with faster autofocus and Super HDR. The main 200MP sensor is capable of capturing much more detail in lowlight situations. The S23 Ultra shoots 8K videos and has an Expert RAW mode to film like a real camera.

It comes with a fairly large 5,000mAh battery capacity and the software is the One UI 5.1, which is based on Android 13.

Encased in an aluminium frame, the phone weighs around 234g and is available in four variants – Green, Lavender, Phantom Black and Cream. ✤
