Following the finale of the hugely popular docuseries ‘The Last Dance’, FACT presents an overview of the iconic Air Jordan styles that appear throughout the series, some of which can be purchased on Farfetch.

Netflix documentary series ‘The Last Dance’ celebrates Michael Jordan’s most documented season as basketball’s biggest. It provides an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look into the Chicago Bulls basketball team’s final seasons together. It also illustrates the birth of the Jordan brand through Michael Jordan’s style both on and off the court, including distinguishable pieces of footwear as well as the rarer, more exclusive models.

Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs.”
Seen in: episode one.

While the “Flu Game” gets the majority of the love, the Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” is equally as good. Michael Jordan decided to go with this design in game six of the ‘97 NBA Finals when the Chicago Bulls defeated Utah Jazz at home in the United Center.

Air Jordan 3 “White/Cement.”
Seen in: episode two.

How legendary was the 1988 NBA Slam Dunk contest? Many purists still recall the final showdown between Dominique Wilkins and Michael Jordan as the greatest display of athleticism on an NBA court. Jordan wore the Air Jordan 3 “White/Cement” specifically for the occasion.

Air Jordan 3 “Black/Cement.”
Seen in: episode three.

For all of its accolades and notoriety in the history of sneaker culture, you’d be surprised to learn that Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 3 “Black/Cement” only once during an NBA game (the ‘88 NBA All-Star Game) and the tradition of the Chicago Bulls team switching to black basketball shoes for the playoffs didn’t begin until the following season.

Air Jordan 6 “Carmine”
Seen in: episode five.

The catchphrase “I want to be like Mike” became as popular as this shoe across the world’s playgrounds in the ‘90s. Gatorade’s charming commercial starring Michael Jordan highlighted the superstar’s flashy moves and his Air Jordan 6 “Carmine.”

Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny.”
Seen in: episode six.

Lovingly referred to as the Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny” following the appearance of the shoe in a comical television commercial starring Michael Jordan and the famous Looney Tunes character. The clean design was a favourite of Mike’s during the ‘92-93 NBA season.

Air Jordan 13 “Bred.”
Seen in: episode six.

Different from the Air Jordan 13 “Playoffs” that Michael Jordan would go on to wear during the latter stages of the ’97-98 NBA campaign. The “Bred” colourway features a fiery red suede mudguard with black midsole pods.
