HONGQI Bahrain introduced three new models, each designed for a distinctive on-road experience and offering drivers a mix of opulence, performance and advanced features.

Zayani Motors, the exclusive distributor of HONGQI luxury cars in the Kingdom, launched three new HONGQI models – H9, HS7 and H6 – at a recent event held at The Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa. It brought together company executives and other officials, where attendees experienced the fusion of heritage and innovation.

The HONGQI H9, a second-generation model priced from BD29,900, builds on its predecessor’s legacy with enhanced dimensions and design language. Its striking lighting system includes the signature ‘Wings of Hongqi’ welcome lighting, adaptive driving beams and 253 ambient colour options. A V6 petrol direct injection engine delivers a maximum power of 240kW (322hp) and 445Nm of torque. Inside, Nappa leather seats, dual rear entertainment screens and a 14-speaker BOSE audio system provide an unparalleled in-cabin experience.

Targeting trend-savvy younger drivers, the HONGQI H6 starts from BD14,900. This Sportback saloon features a 2.0L turbo engine delivering an impressive 185kW (252hp) and 380Nm of torque. A bold grille and sleek silhouette define its elegant exterior, while an advanced LED lighting system, including intelligent high-beam control and adaptive driving beam, are features that distinguish this model. The interior balances style and comfort, with ventilated leather and microfibre seats, dual-zone automatic air conditioning and a modern infotainment system.

The HS7, available from BD18,900, is a seven-seater SUV built for those who seek adventure without compromising convenience. A refined exterior includes an active grille for better aerodynamics and updated LED lighting elements. Under the bonnet, a 2.0L turbocharged engine with mild hybrid technology increases response, producing a maximum power output of 185kW (252hp) and 380Nm of torque. Inside, the HS7 provides improved ergonomics and enhanced technology integration, along with practical features such as an electric boot, keyless entry and automatic headlight height adjustment.
