Fudds eSports Championship 2024 Event Recap

A riveting finish to another Championship is in the books, as we recap the Fuddruckers eSports Championship 2024, which took place at Al Liwan, Hamala this past weekend.

Inaugurated by Mateo Ramos, CEO of Foodvest Holding, Mahmood Al Aali, Deputy GM of NBK Bahrain; and Marwan Fouad Salman Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs; this two-day event was a spectacular show and the culmination of the Kingdom’s best gamers to compete for bragging rights & $4000 in cash prizes at FC24, Tekken8, and Rocket League.

Additionally in attendance, were several representatives of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, fulfilling their role as liaisons to the pop-up youth market, which provided aspiring entrepreneurs and start-up businesses with a platform to display their wares for sale to the public and the hoard of gamers attending the eSports Championship.

The event saw more than 300 visitors in the space of a few hours, whether it was to sign up for the games or to take in the full event’s experience over the weekend with their friends and family. It is noteworthy that a sizeable contribution was amassed with the help of the gamers and attendees, which has been pledged to the Royal Humanitarian Foundation towards a Humanitarian Aid Campaign.

Foodvest Holding extends a special thanks to its Premium Sponsor, NBK – Bahrain for their efforts and contributions in making this an event to remember. Foodvest Holding recognises their strategic partners Al Liwan, Bahrain Comic Con, Danube and Qadooa for their contributions, as well as collaborators Caribou Coffee, Marble Slab Creamery, for the overflowing ice cream and coffee provided to the players, and our media partners Radio Bahrain, FACT, LocalBH, BahrainTV for their presence and support.
