Fun Times & Feasts at Bluewaters
Bluewaters is hosting a celebration of all things foodrelated during Dubai Food Festival this month, with endless feasting and fun for all the family!
Bluewaters, Meraas’ unique island destination and home to the iconic Ain Dubai, has launched its calendar of fantastic food, fun and games for the Dubai Food Festival (DFF), taking place until Saturday, March 14.
The whole island is gearing up for a festival of feasting with truly unique culinary experiences, from pop-ups to cooking masterclasses for dedicated foodies on offer across many of the island’s exciting dining outlets.
While adults can be happily engaged by food alone, children generally require something a little more playful, which is why Bluewaters have also introduced some exceptional entertainment to keep the little ones busy while the grown-ups satisfy their culinary cravings. Keeping the atmosphere lively will be roaming entertainers complete with food-themed costumes to amuse guests while they enjoy all the action.
Located at The Wharf on Bluewaters, Foodtopia is a unique concept featuring fun & games and a pop-up food market serving up treats from Leen’s Casual to Gourmet, Basanti & Co., Keventers Milkshakes, Seedology and Puerto 99. Those spending more than AED 50 at Bluewaters gain access to the Foodtopia, which includes a ‘Food Ninja’ virtual reality food fight game, Fruit Swings and the Children’s Arts & Crafts Corner where kids can take part in Paper pizza designing, food polymer clay modelling, paper mat play dough, fruit & veggie stamp making, coffee painting and paper food mosaic. Adults can also enjoy the ‘Selfie Coffee’ experience at Merika Café, where their picture is turned into very ‘Instagrammable’ coffee art!
However, dedicated foodies who are visiting the island purely for the culinary creations will not be disappointed, as there is a huge range of one-off dining experiences to be found on Bluewaters throughout DFF 2020!
For those who like to get more involved at their culinary occasions, Foodie Experiences is back for a second serving this year, so book your spot now for cooking masterclasses at Cleo’s Table or at Zhen Wei’s Chinese restaurant:
