Creative minds on the island, get ready to welcome Comic Con 2023, which will happen on October 6 and 7.

Bahrain’s biggest pop culture convention returns and will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Fans and enthusiasts can expect an energetic event full of activities, celebrities and many surprises.

From Hollywood studios to international gaming companies, Bahrain Comic Con will be jam packed with celebs and content that will excite attendees from all around the world. Guests who will make an appearance at the convention include voice actress Carolina Ravassa known for her work in video games and TV series; Canadian actor Alexander Ludwig who starred as Cato in The Hunger Games; Lochlyn Munro, known for the memorable characters he played in the movies Dead Man on Campus, A Night at the Roxbury and Scary Movie; American actor Cooper Andrews of The Walking Dead fame; Aimee Garcia who starred as Ella Lopez on the Fox/ Netflix drama Lucifer; British actor Clive Standen who’s best known for playing Bryan Mills in the NBC series Taken, based on the film trilogy of the same name; Mason Dye who featured in season four of Stranger Things and Paul Anderson who portrayed Arthur Shelby Jr. in Peaky Blinders and Sebastian Moran in Sherlock Holmes.

Supporting this fantastic lineup will be a series of fun activations such as gaming stations, a board game room, an artists’ alley, food vendors and much more. Meet your idols and get their autographs, as well as a chance to interact with them during the Q&A sessions. And, of course, engage in creative cosplay and win exciting prizes. Bahrain Comic Con 2023 will also be the platform for the first ever Middle East Cosplay Summit (MECS), which will take place on the second day.

Timings on October 6 are 1pm to 11pm and on October 7, 12pm to 11pm. Tickets are available at Virgin Megastores, Bahrain City Centre. The VIP ticket includes a series of benefits from early entry and fast-tracked photo sessions and autographs to goodie bags and more. ✤
