Shamsaha, the first and only multi-lingual, 24/7 mobile-app-based crisis support service for women in the Middle East, has announced the launch of Shamsaha App 2.0, developed in collaboration with RainCode, a leading Bahraini software development company.

The updated app marks a major milestone in Shamsaha’s mission to empower women by providing confidential, accessible and culturally sensitive support – behind closed doors and behind closed borders.

A New Era of Accessibility and Safety

Shamsaha App 2.0 builds on years of field experience and user feedback to offer a more intuitive, secure and expanded service platform. The new version includes upgraded navigation, enhanced privacy and safety features, a simplified chat interface and improved access to 24/7 crisis support in multiple languages. Through this partnership, Shamsaha and RainCode demonstrate how technology and compassion can come together to protect and empower women across Bahrain and the wider region.
