Back for the seventh year is the annual Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF), set to host a revellry of world cuisines for all the real foodies out there. The much-anticipated annual event, taking place at the Museum of Islamic Art park, will celebrate culinary culture under the theme A Different Side of Food.
Organised by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) and Qatar Airways, this year the event will be extended to a week, and will see the addition of satellite festival experiences at many of the country’s other landmarks and eateries, including The Pearl and Katara Cultural Village. Chinese food lovers will also have plenty to look forward to, with Chinese cuisine being heavily featured as part of the Qatar-China 2016 Year of Culture celebrations. Visitors can look forward to the return of QIFF’s signature events, including Qatar Airways’ Dinner in the Sky and Cooking Theatre, featuring celebrity chefs from Doha and around the world. Eat up, everyone!
GO: Qatar International Food Festival takes place at MIA park from March 22 to 28.
