Thursday night dining in Dubai is a chance to unwind after a long week and enjoy a leisurely meal. But with most restaurants offering casual dining or endless appetisers, it’s time for Thursday night to be elevated. That it has, with the debut of BQ’s French-inspired brunch experience: Paris, Paris!
Thursday night dining is part of Dubai’s culture,” notes Mickael Bertho, BQ’s Chef De Cuisine. “But for all the casual-dining options available, no one was offering authentic french cuisine in a relaxed setting. We created Paris, Paris! for diners who want to unwind at the end of the week while still enjoying world-class cuisine.”
You will begin with shared starters and a seafood platter, then comes onion soup served at the table. After the soup, each person chooses their main dish, between steak or bouillabaisse. After the mains, it’s time to delve into a cheese platter at the table followed by the perfect sharing dessert. Authentic French music adds a touch of sincerity to the brunch.
Served from 7pm to 11pm, Paris, Paris! features gourmet sharing dishes prepared under the supervision of chef Mickael Bertho, tableside service and a gently lit ambience, all for AED225 per person inclusive of soft beverages. For an extra AED100, guests may enjoy unlimited French wine and beer.
BQ, French Kitchen & Bar is located in downtown Dubai’s opulent Habtoor Palace.
