Interview with Carlo Javakhia, Executive Assistant Manager, at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre and Le Meridien Fairway.
Tell us three things that make Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre stand out from its competitors…
Le Méridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre is committed to excellence in service and quality for over four decades. It is among the few hotels in the city that offers 18 dining venues and 24 event venues under one destination. Different restaurants and authentic experiences are delivered through assorted cuisines, bars and creative events. Moreover, Le Méridien Dubai hotel is constantly evolving to ensure that there is always something new for our guests to discover. The management carefully plans and executes expansion and development of the different experiential areas of the hotel to match global hospitality trends while adapting to the local market.
What are your favourite cultural hotspots in Dubai and why?
My favourite cultural spots are Al Bastakiya, the Abra and Souk in Bur Dubai. Each of these locations are glorious reminders of Dubai’s past and its narrow, winding lanes often makes one wonder about the Emirates cultural heritage while also marveling at its current modern evolution. Spending time there with family and friends is a great relaxation away from the hustle and bustle but close to nature and legacy of this destination.
Share with us some of your professional goals for the rest of 2019…
The ethos followed by every associate at Le Méridien Dubai hotel is to deliver the finest hospitality to our guests and the goal for the rest of the year is to rank value above the price. Value builds loyalty. Our aim is to manage customer value by creating quality and delivery exceptional service that customers can see as well as experience. With the evolving sensibilities of guests in Dubai, we are focused on increasing the percentage of repeated guests, from the current figures where we have one of the highest ratios of repeated clientele.
