Christian Hoehn. I am extremely proud to be appointed as the General Manager of this iconic property. A new decade starts and exciting days are ahead of us. With the modern-day luxury traveler in constant evolution and the digital transformation worldwide, it is our duty to stay relevant to our guests. I look forward to driving a culture of innovation in our Ladies and Gentlemen that will be the key to differentiate us from the competition and generate both, outstanding guest experiences and business value.
Moreover, Abu Dhabi will keep rising as a world-class destination and it is crucial for us to lead guest satisfaction, retention and financial growth within the competitive hospitality landscape in the city.
What are some of your favourite cultural hotspots in Abu Dhabi and why?
CH. Abu Dhabi is a vibrant city bursting with culture and heritage. For a cultural morning, I recommend visiting Louvre Abu Dhabi that gleams with stunning architecture and provides direct access to first-class art and an interesting insight into cultural diversity. As the sun sets, I advocate a stopover at the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Featuring marvellous interior design, it never fails to astonish visitors. Interestingly, our hotel was heavily influenced by the mosque and guests may notice that the acanthus flowers that decorate the mosque’s interiors adorn as well our resort’s own marble design.
