How did you become involved in the hospitality industry?
During my studies, I already started to be involved in tourism; travelling, organising student trips and excursions some in Croatia but mostly around Europe. After graduation in 2010, I went to live in Tunisia. There, through the company I was working with, we handled our own charter flights and 17 hotels. From Tunisia, I was sent to Egypt to open it as our new destination. Through getting involved with the history of each country and local cultures and traditions, I knew hospitality was the right path for me.

What is your favourite part of your job?
There is an old proverb, if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. This is the approach I decided to take a long time ago. I love meeting people, exchanging ideas and suggestions, creating beautiful events and campaigns, and witnessing the smiles on people’s faces as they become part of it, whether as guests or colleagues.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
I am a person with a lot of energy, strong vision and very determined. These values will channel my future to become a strong leader with a creative mind, hopefully in Bahrain or the Middle East as this is now my home.
