Noor Alhayki
Corporate Communications and Marketing Manager, Gulf Hotels Group

Your career journey has been incredibly diverse, spanning diplomacy, digital marketing and entrepreneurship. What inspired you to transition into the digital marketing world?
My transition into digital marketing was inspired by my passion for connecting with audiences and creating impactful messages. Coming from a background in diplomacy and public policy, I understood the power of effective communication in building relationships and influencing perceptions. As technology evolved, I realised that digital marketing offered unparalleled opportunities to reach and engage audiences in real-time across diverse platforms. This ability to amplify brand messages and drive measurable results aligned perfectly with my skills and aspirations. Moreover, my entrepreneurial mindset pushed me to explore innovative ways to differentiate brands and elevate their presence in competitive markets.

What is your favourite social media platform and why? And how much time on average do you spend on it every day?
My favourite social media platform is LinkedIn. I value it for its professional networking opportunities, thought leadership and the ability to engage with industry trends and insights. It’s a platform where meaningful conversations happen and connections are made that contribute to both personal and professional growth. Additionally, I enjoy TikTok because it allows me to understand the younger generation and stay updated on emerging trends that often shape digital culture.
Instagram is another favourite, as it remains the number one platform in Bahrain, making it essential for engaging with audiences and building a strong visual brand presence. On average, I spend about one to two hours daily across these platforms, ensuring I stay informed, connected and inspired.

What’s one thing on your bucket list that you’re determined to tick off this year?
In 2025, I am determined to make a lasting impact in my current role at Gulf Hotels Group by successfully initiating and establishing a centralised marketing department. My goal is to create a dynamic, agency-style structure that streamlines operations, enhances collaboration and elevates the marketing strategies across the group’s properties and outlets.
