Bahrain’s biggest pop culture convention is back and will happen on October 28 and 29 at Bahrain International Circuit.

Bahrain Comic Con will return to Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir, on October 28 and 29. The event will be hosted under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Get ready for a fun-filled family weekend full of activities, celebrities and other surprises!

Famous personalities who will be gracing the event include Paul Anderson, aka Arthur Shelby of Peaky Blinders fame, David Angelo Roman, from Rick and Morty, and more; word has it that Roman will release the newest edition of the comic book Rick and Morty at the convention. This is your chance to meet your heroes in the flesh and get autographs and photographs to cherish for a lifetime. Meet and greet sessions, as well as Q&A sessions will be conducted.

Additionally, there will be a wide range of fun things to enjoy. Cosplay will be a major highlight where you can dress up as your favourite character. Awards will also be presented to the best dressed – be creative!

Gamers galore – Bahrain Comic Con will feature gaming stations where you can enjoy the latest lures of the virtual realm. A gaming tournament is in order and there are prizes too.

An artist alley will also be there. It’s a space for local and international talents to showcase their artworks, which you can buy as well.

Kids can enjoy a dedicated kids’ area with plenty of adrenaline-boosting activities such as bouncy castles and zip lines. Football fans can witness an action-packed freestyle football session, which will be conducted by Red Bull.

Vendors selling a wide range of cuisines will also be on hand so, you can take a break to energise while having a good time.

Tickets to the convention are currently available on Sadad and at Virgin Megastore, City Centre Bahrain or you could visit the store’s website to buy online. They will be available at other places soon. Priced at BD11 for a single day and BD16.5 for two days. VIP tickets are being sold at BD110. ✤
