Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain unveils a full summer programme for younger guests, from Federation-level tennis coaching to themed adventure camps and daily creative play. The offering is designed to keep children active, curious and inspired while families settle into the unhurried rhythm of a beachfront stay.

At the centre of the programme is Tennis Club by the Sea, a new collaboration with Yellow Ball Tennis Academy based in Riffa, a neighbourhood with deep roots in Bahrain’s sporting community. Yellow Ball offers structured coaching across all ages and ability levels, bringing professional training to a resort where the Gulf’s warm waters and open skies set the tone for every session.

Running every Saturday and Sunday from June 13, the programme moves through a curated flow of activity: tennis, basketball, a creative workshop and swimming, with a light lunch included. With summer temperatures in mind, sessions can move indoors, allowing uninterrupted training through the warmest months.

Beyond the court, Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain invites families to explore the wider resort. At Talise spa, guests can unwind with restorative treatments, including traditional Moroccan hammam and sunset yoga overlooking the water. Dining spans Sicilian coastal flavours at Due Mari, Levantine cuisine at Zahrat Al Fayrouz, and tapas with Gulf views at 25 | 50. The resort also offers traditional Abra boat tours along its meandering waterways and a private 36-seat cinema for evening screenings.

The Kids Summer Camp will run from June 14 to August 27, Sunday to Thursday, from 10am to 5pm. Each day follows a different theme: Into the Wild Wonders, Makers and Little Chefs, Seaside Scouts, Shine and Splash, and Once Upon a Cove. Activities range from beach rock painting and clay modelling to resort treasure hunts and Little Chefs cooking sessions.

Daily Kids Club activities round out the offering with themed programming throughout the week, from jungle safari yoga and pirate treasure hunts to superhero challenges and creative play.

Tennis Club by the Sea

Every Saturday and Sunday from June 13. BD45 per child per weekend, covering both sessions and inclusive of a light lunch. Adult passes at BD15, inclusive of pool and beach access.

Kids Summer Camp

June 14 to August 27, Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 5pm. Single-day packages from BD25 per child. Five-day family packages from BD249, inclusive of adult pool access.
