Meta has finally released its much-anticipated Meta Ray-Ban Display smart glasses.
The good news is, the long-awaited AR glasses are finally available. The bad news is, that availability is currently only in the US with international roll-out expected early in 2026.
The glasses, which resemble classic Wayfarers but with clear lenses, offer full-colour display built into the right lens, up to 3K ultra high-resolution for videos and photos and high-quality open-ear audio for calls, music and live Meta AI.
They’re the first AI glasses with a private in-lens display and on-wrist control via the Meta Neural Band, which enables wearers to navigate the display with intuitive gestures. Meta responses appear on your in-lens display, adding clarity and confidence. You can also respond to messages from WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and your phone, hands-free.
And, with live captions on the Meta Ray-Ban Display, your glasses can generate real-time captions and translations, letting you read your conversations as you hear them.
Wearers can also seamlessly access and operate the camera using only hand movements with the Neural Band. And, with a 12MP camera, 3X zoom and a viewfinder on the in-lens display, users can shoot and share pictures right from the glasses. ✤
