Mitsubishi Motors Middle East & Africa (MMMEA), together with Zayani Motors, have launched the all-new Mitsubishi Destinator in Bahrain, bringing seven-seat comfort, advanced safety and confident performance to everyday driving.

MMMEA and Zayani Motors, the distributor of Mitsubishi Motors in Bahrain, have introduced the all-new Destinator – a three-row, seven-seat SUV developed to meet the expectations of Middle Eastern families and modern drivers.

Built around Mitsubishi’s strategic proposition, Grand Destinations Await, the new Destinator marks a step forward in the brand’s SUV lineup, combining a commanding road presence with refined comfort in a versatile three-row layout.

The Destinator’s exterior design strikes a clear balance of strength and motion, anchored by the Gravitas & Dynamism design concept. Gravitas delivers presence and solidity through a road-commanding driver position and the proportions of an upscale, wide-stance SUV. In contrast, Dynamism expresses a sense of energy and movement. The result is a vehicle that signals SUV toughness while promising manoeuvrability to handle daily driving challenges.

Exterior highlights, such as a panoramic sunroof and hands-free tailgate add both style and convenience, while 214mm of ground clearance supports confident driving on city roads and varied terrain. A large grille, LED headlights, sculpted bodywork and 18- inch alloy wheels complete the look.

Inside, the Destinator continues to impress with its cabin design. The interior features synthetic leather seating with anti-temperature-rise treatment, dual-zone climate control with dedicated second- and third-row AC ventilation, USB charging points in all rows and 25 storage spots.

A 12.3-inch infotainment display compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto sits prominently on the dashboard alongside an eight-inch digital instrument cluster. Ambient lighting with 64 customisable colours, an eight-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha premium audio system, a hands-free tailgate, a wireless charger and a panoramic sunroof operated via Smartphone Display Audio (SDA) contribute to a composed and enjoyable drive.

The flagship SUV provides seating for seven in a classic three-row configuration, with ample storage compartments throughout the cabin. Folding the second and third rows flat opens up a spacious cargo area for luggage, sports gear or larger items.

For complete peace of mind, advanced safety features include a 360-degree digital rearview camera, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Blind-Spot Warning (BSW).

At the heart of the new Mitsubishi Destinator is an efficient yet powerful 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, producing 163hp and 250Nm of torque, with the four-cylinder mill paired with a CVT transmission sending power to the front wheels. With Active Yaw Control for added stability and five drive modes, the Destinator is engineered to adapt easily to every journey. ✤
