The new Volvo XC90 was unveiled by Motorcity – the authorised distributor of Volvo in Bahrain – in an exclusive launch event held at the Altaj Ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel.
The event – which officially introduced Volvo’s flagship SUV to the Bahraini market, offering a unique blend of advanced safety, Scandinavian elegance, and premium comfort for modern families – was attended by Michael Brightmore, CEO of Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo (EKK) and Manaf Kassem, Dealer Principal – Volvo Cars Bahrain, along with many customers and local influencers.

The new XC90 features a refreshed exterior with a redesigned front grille, sleeker Thor’s Hammer LED headlights, and sculpted lines that reflect strength and elegance. New wheel options and expanded exterior colours offer added personalisation.




Inside, the use of premium materials such as bio-attributed Nordico upholstery and Herringbone Weave textile accents elevate the sense of comfort and sustainability. A genuine crystal gear shift knob adds a touch of handcrafted luxury.
The cabin also features a larger 11.2-inch touchscreen with a more intuitive interface and built-in Google connectivity, allowing for real-time updates and seamless access to navigation, media, and apps. Acoustic enhancements and a refined suspension system further contribute to a smooth and quiet driving experience.
