Kia launches Sportage L in the Middle East and Africa region.

Kia Middle East and Africa has announced the regional launch of the Kia Sportage L, a long-wheelbase addition to its acclaimed SUV lineup, which aims to redefine the mid-size SUV market with its impressive enhancements and innovative features.

The striking vehicle was recently unveiled during an exclusive test drive event held in Salalah, Oman.

The Kia Sportage has sold more than seven million units globally across five generations, establishing a solid reputation for reliability and value over its 30-year legacy. The Sportage L exemplifies Kia’s commitment to meeting diverse customer needs and adapting to shifting market trends.

The new model’s exterior showcases the X-Line styling package and the distinctive ‘Star Chain’ grille enhances its rugged appeal. With improved interior space and a modern design, the car is poised to be a leading choice in the mid-size SUV segment.

Performance in the Sportage L is enhanced by two state-ofthe-art powertrains: a 1.5T engine delivering 197hp and a 2.0T engine with 233hp, both paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission for improved performance and fuel economy.

The extended body and best-in-class wheelbase, which is 155mm longer, enhance the interior space, providing exceptional comfort and practicality. With a luggage capacity of up to 1,829 litres when the second-row seats are folded, it is ideal for family outings and everyday tasks.
