With the launch of a new GAC showroom and the electric AION brand, Tasheelat Automotive Company (TAC) reaffirmed its commitment to providing the best for its customers in Bahrain.

Tasheelat Automotive Company, the exclusive distributor of GAC in Bahrain, officially opened its new state-of-the-art showroom in Sitra recently, marking the debut of the new AION electric vehicle brand in the Kingdom. The ceremony was attended by Shaikh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Domestic & Foreign Trade, representatives from the Embassy of China, members of TAC’s executive team, representatives from GAC Middle East and a group of business and social figures, as well as automotive industry enthusiasts and media representatives.

“After a full decade since the launch of GAC Motor in Bahrain in 2015, we are delighted to inaugurate the new GAC showroom today,” said Mohsen Kassem, CEO of the Automotive Group. “This opening not only reflects GAC’s commitment to providing quality vehicles and excellent after-sales service but also underscores the Automotive Group’s dedication to offering unprecedented facilities for owning GAC cars in the Kingdom.”

The event featured a range of the latest GAC vehicles, including the GS8 Traveller and EMPOW R, alongside the fully electric AION models, HYPTEC HT, AION Y and AION ES, marking the official entry of the AION brand into the Bahraini market.
