STRIKING LOOKS, IMPRESSIVE UPGRADES

The 2023 Nissan Altima exhibits new front-end styling, along with expanded safety features and technologies.

A distinctively sporty look and redesigned brand logo make the latest Altima a treat for the eyes. Those going for the Sport grade can even opt for a newly added, exclusive exterior colour – Ethos Grey. Matching to this is the interior, which offers a near-luxury feel in both design and materials, including revised instrument panel finishings across all trims.

That’s not all that’s new on the Altima. Among the enhancements are the additions of a 12.3-inch HD colour display with multitouch control and wireless Apple CarPlay integration available as standard on Altima SV and SL grades. A first within the Nissan Middle East lineup is Wireless Android Auto compatibility on these grades. The selection of audio and infotainment choices includes a nine-speaker Bose Premium Audio system and Active Noise Cancellation. The vehicle is equipped with a Remote Engine Start System available with Intelligent Climate Control on the SV and SL trims.

Drivers have a choice of two four-cylinder engine configurations, a 2.0-litre Variable Compression (VC) Turbo engine and a 2.5-litre Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) DOHC engine. Exclusively on the Altima SL model, the four-cylinder VC-Turbo delivers 248hp and 380Nm of torque, with a fuel economy of 16.4km/l. All models come equipped with a standard Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The brand’s advanced ProPILOT system is available as standard on the Altima SL and optional on the SV, and the Safety Shield 360 appears on all SV and SL grades, further enhancing safety. ✤
