Swedish brand Axel Arigato’s current collection, Did You See? pushes the boundaries of texture, colour, proportion and perception with fresh streetwear style that urges us to look again at the details.

The footwear and ready-to-wear pieces aim to visually entertain with bold silhouettes, reversible designs and innovative material techniques.

Under the creative direction of Jens Werner, this collection aims to disrupt our habitual online scrolling obsessions and monotone culture. Instead, it offers striking and unexpected designs, playful visuals and ‘look-twice’ details that compel viewers to pause, engage and share.

Footwear innovation is at the heart of the collection, with all-new unisex styles that push the boundaries of design. The Mule Family marks an evolution in the brand’s lineup, offering an open-back silhouette that retains the practical foundation of the brand’s signature trainer soles. Blending leather and denim materials with refined piping details, the mules reinterpret casual footwear with a modern, slip-on design that remains true to Axel Arigato’s design universe.

The Tact Runner is the first of a series of new low-profile silhouettes – iterated in fluffy hairy suede or distressed denim, while the Slow Runner reimagines the Marathon trainer, utilising the silhouette’s original upper and fusing it with an entirely new outsole.

Womenswear is headlined by the debut of Eris, a striking new trainer with a low profile and flat sole, crafted with interlocking suede and leather profile panels.

Menswear reimagines traditional knitwear, with oversized designs that experiment with form and technique. Varsity jackets now feature intricately woven sleeves, while puffers and gilets replace conventional quilting with dramatic knit-inspired patterns. Crew neck jumpers are elevated with fabric panels that interlock like woven threads or flecked marl jumpers incorporate hand-woven details that bring added richness to their knit textures.

Chore and Bomber jackets, pieces that traditionally form a man’s outerwear wardrobe, are redefined with a fashionable edge. Woven collars or dual front fastenings offer a creative, design-savvy perspective. Texture is also experimented with – jeans evolve through gradient techniques, whilst classic rugby polos come in wool, with hand applique branding and exposed thread. Women’s ready-to-wear pieces play with subtle yet captivating details, such as the hand-knitted Ana Fluffy tank tops, accompanying soft yarn Maria tanks or the Frame jumpers, each complete with amplified ribbed necklines and shoulders for unexpected volume. They are styled effortlessly with the Thea cotton blazers that feature frayed hems along their lapel for a raw, modern edge. Ribbed knit cardigans feature elongated cuffs and accentuated collars, finished with hand-stitched ‘Arigato’ branding. ✤
