OM THE BEACH

Channel the energy of the full moon with new monthly yoga sessions at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.

The private island retreat’s resident yoga instructor, Aneesh Ramankutty, will be guiding the yoga gatherings which begin after dusk to make the most of the moon’s soothing energy.

Enliven and relax the body with a blend of gentle Hatha and Chandra Namaskar yoga sequences, which provide a strong, effective workout while remaining grounded in the core mindfulness of practising yoga.

Practitioners ranging from absolute beginners to experts are invited to join Aneesh in bowing to the moon’s soothing lunar energy as a way of harnessing nature’s energies and releasing what no longer serves you.

And the experience and atmosphere of practising this ancient healing and relaxing art under the light of the full moon is sure to leave you refreshed and enlivened. Classes will take place either at the lush lawn area or the beach, between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on the following full moon dates in 2021:

• Sunday, August 22

• Monday, September 20

• Wednesday, October 20

• Friday, November 19

• Sunday, December 19

Sessions cost BD6 for spa members and BD9 for outside guests. ✤
