The luxury high-performance sports car brand’s Bahrain dealership partnered with the Bahrain Turf Club at the Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club for a prestigious race day on February 6.

The distinguished race day brought together elite horseracing, heritage-led brands and high-performance sporting excellence in one of the Kingdom’s most iconic venues.

As part of a broader race programme that included notable feature races such as the Bahrain Jewellery Centre Cup, Porsche Bahrain sponsored two races, the Porsche Cup and the Porsche Sprint Race, each reflecting a distinct expression of performance and competition.

The Porsche Cup, run over 2,400 metres, served as a showcase of endurance, power and tactical mastery. Open to imported horses under handicap conditions, the race featured a total prize fund of BD3,000, reinforcing its standing within the race day calendar. The race was won by Channagide, ridden by Abdulla Faisal and trained by Jaber Ramadhan, following a commanding performance that highlighted stamina and consistency over distance.

Complementing it was the Porsche Sprint Race (1,200m), a shorter-format contest emphasising acceleration, responsiveness and precision. The race was claimed by Deham, ridden by Hasan Ali and trained by Yousif Taher, delivering a dynamic display of speed that thrilled spectators and reflected Porsche’s performance-driven DNA.

Hosted within the wider race day programme at Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club, the event welcomed Porsche clients and invited guests to experience horseracing in an environment that celebrates tradition, craftsmanship and competitive excellence. Porsche Bahrain’s involvement underscored the brand’s ongoing commitment to partnering with premier sporting platforms that share its values of precision, heritage and uncompromising performance.

Through this partnership, Porsche Bahrain continues to strengthen its presence within Bahrain’s cultural and sporting landscape, creating meaningful brand experiences beyond the automotive world while honouring the spirit of competition.
