Racing Fever Hits Bahrain

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is set to kick off the 2025 F1 season with pre-season testing this month, followed by the much-anticipated Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix in April.
The Kingdom is gearing up for an action-packed start to the 2025 Formula 1 season with both pre-season testing and the Bahrain Grand Prix set to take place at the BIC. Tickets for pre-season testing, running from February 26 to 28, are now on sale, offering fans the chance to see all 10 teams on track before the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship begins.
This marks the fifth consecutive year that Bahrain has hosted F1 pre-season testing, first held at BIC in 2009 and 2014 before becoming an annual fixture from 2021 onwards. The event offers an incredible opportunity for fans to witness the teams’ cars and drivers in action before the championship officially begins, two weeks later, with the Australian Grand Prix from March 14 to 16.
The 2025 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix follows soon after, running from April 11 to 13. The circuit, famous for its floodlit night race, offering dramatic high-speed action and a vibrant atmosphere, will host the first Middle Eastern race of the season. Last season’s event saw a record-breaking attendance of 37,000 spectators on race day, with 100,000 over the weekend, including 11,000 international visitors.
The two-day pre-season testing spectacle will allow fans to watch the action from the Main Grandstand, which overlooks the F1 pit lane and team garages, as well as the circuit’s main straight. Apart from the racing, visitors can explore interactive fan zones, cultural showcases and premium hospitality options.
The fan zones will offer a chance to engage with teams and drivers, participate in competitions and enjoy live entertainment. Cultural showcases will highlight Bahrain’s rich heritage with traditional music and dance performances and authentic local cuisine. Hospitality options will provide viewing experiences, exclusive access to VIP lounges, gourmet dining and meet-and-greet opportunities with F1 personalities. Other family-friendly activities include a dedicated fun zone for children, simulators, games and educational exhibits about the science of racing.
Tickets are available for purchase through the circuit’s official website and priced at BD10 per day for adults and BD5 for children. Exclusive hospitality packages, providing premium trackside views, fine dining and pit lane walk, are also available at USD1,200 (including 10% VAT) per person, per day. ✤
