From flying sparks to screaming tyres, Bahrain International Circuit has packed the Ramadan calendar with motorsport mayhem, offering Burnout Nights and a special Drag and Drift evening for participants and spectators alike.
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is delivering an action-packed Holy Month, with its widely popular Burnout Nights lighting up Sakhir.
The series got off to a thrilling start with the opening two editions held last month, with two more rounds still to come on March 5 and 13, giving enthusiasts plenty of opportunities to take part or watch the high-octane action from the stands.
Burnout Nights is open to motorsport enthusiasts of all skill levels, each event promising a dramatic show of flying sparks and rising smoke as cars spin at high speed in front of large crowds. Those interested in taking part can register on site for a BD8 fee per participant. An additional BD5.5 applies for each accompanying passenger and/or crew member.
All entrants’ vehicles must meet specific eligibility criteria before being cleared to take part, ensuring both safety and standards are maintained throughout the night.

For spectators, Burnout Nights deliver a close-up view of the action. The circuit’s grandstand overlooks the drift park, part of BIC’s extensive vehicle dynamics area, providing a clear vantage point to take in the tyre-smoking displays and precision driving on show.
Tickets are priced at BD2 each, while VIP car passes are available at BD5 each, making it an accessible evening out during Ramadan.
BIC is also hosting the second of its special Ramadan editions of the Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights on March 9. Offering speed enthusiasts twice the thrills, action takes place along both BIC’s world-class, quarter-mile drag strip and at the circuit’s vast vehicle dynamics area. Featuring two of the most popular and adrenaline-pumping forms of motorsport today, participants will be able to take part in their very own cars or motorbikes.
Running from 8.30pm to 1.30am, participation in both the drag racing and the drifting is priced at BD11, while taking part in either one individually costs BD8. For those wishing to experience the action as a passenger, an additional fee of BD4.5 applies. Spectator tickets are available at BD2 a piece. ✤
