Raring To Go!

The Spirit of Le Mans, the very best of global endurance racing, returns to Bahrain!
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, has officially launched ticket sales for the much-anticipated 2024 World Endurance Championship (WEC) 8 Hours of Bahrain powered by Bapco Energies.
The exhilarating showcase of endurance racing, alongside captivating off-track entertainment, will take place on November 1 and 2. It represents the eighth and final round of this year’s FIA World Endurance Championship.
The WEC has established itself as one of the premier championships under the International Automobile Federation (FIA), consistently drawing motorsport elites. This global series has gained immense popularity, featuring races across eight countries and four continents.
This year’s event will mark the 13th WEC race at BIC and will also be the sixth time it’s being held in the eight-hour format. The 8 Hours of Bahrain will be the first major global meeting of BIC’s 2024-25 racing calendar, serving as an exciting climax to the WEC season’s historic campaign. As of now, six different cars have claimed victories in the WEC’s top-tier Hypercar class. The competition has never been so tight, with the most iconic brands being represented in the series’ two categories, the Hypercar and lower-tier LMGT3, including McLaren, Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Toyota, Lexus, Ford, Peugeot, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Alpine. Bahrain’s WEC event is unique as it’s the only eight-hour race in the series, allowing fans to witness the thrilling transition from daytime racing to night under BIC’s stateof-the-art floodlights.
The tickets for this two-day spectacle cost BD5.5 for adults and BD2.75 for children.
BIC is also offering a premium hospitality product for WEC – The Le Mans Spirit Club Package. Priced at BD290 (excluding VAT) for two days, it includes an inclusive dining and beverage package, all in the incredible setting of premium lounges overlooking the pit lane and main straight. Alongside the WEC race, the weekend programme includes the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, the region’s leading one-make championship, featuring talented drivers of different nationalities. BIC is also planning an incredible line-up of colourful entertainment to enjoy off the track on both days of the WEC weekend. ✤
