Metal Fest Bahrain returns this month with another fantastic lineup that promises to create some serious noise!

Featuring Spanish thrash metal veterans Angelus Apatrida, Norwegian death metal stars Blood Red Throne, Indian thrash metal band Amorphia and Omani thrash/death metal rockers Gridlok, the eagerly awaited event is scheduled for November 27 at Diggers, Delmon International Hotel.

The bands:

Angelus Apatrida

Formed in March 2000, Angelus Apatrida have more than earned their reputation as modern thrash metal greats. One of the few Spanish bands to enjoy sustained international recognition, the band burst onto the global scene with their 2006 debut and have never looked back.

A close-knit, four-man unit, Angelus Apatrida inked a deal with Century Media records in 2009: an unexpected achievement for a Spanish metal band, but one that they grabbed with full force. They have steadily evolved since, releasing a series of stunning, genre-redefining records. Their latest album, 2023’s Aftermath, showcases a refined and diverse thrash metal composition, blending classic and modern styles with a focus on heavy guitar riffs and powerful drumming.

Blood Red Throne

Blood Red Throne are Norwegian extreme metal veterans formed in Kristiansand, Norway, in 1998 by former Satyricon guitarist Daniel ‘Død’ Olaisen and Emperor bassist Terje ‘Tchort’ Schei.

The band is known for its combination of raw brutality, which includes deep guttural vocals and aggressive riffs, with groovy, mid-tempo sections and melodic, sometimes triumphant, guitar solos. Their music is often described as a blend of American aggression and European musicianship, with thrash and even some melodic black metal influences.

Blood Red Throne are known for their energetic and powerful live performances so be prepared to have a face-melting, ear-shattering experience!

Amorphia

One of the leaders of the Indian metal scene, Amorphia return to Bahrain after three years and are ready to unleash their unrelenting thrash metal assault for your headbanging pleasure! If you were there at their last performance at Metal Fest in 2022, you know how dynamic this band is on stage!

Gridlok

The first Omani metal band to ever perform in Bahrain are ready to bring you their unique brand of unrelenting metal aggression!
